Our ground-breaking passive radar technology, which is 90% software and 10% off-the-shelf hardware, provides unparalleled simultaneous detection of drones and birds in all scenarios.
Unlike traditional solutions, such as RF (Radio Frequency) sensors and Active Radars, PRIMUS operates without emitting signals, ensuring stealthy operation and the ability to be safely installed in populated areas while maintaining the highest effectiveness in all weather conditions, can be easily integrated into air traffic control systems, with the ability to detect autonomous drones (invisible to RF systems) and fibre-optic controlled drones.
Our partnerships allow us to offer a complete system, from radar tracking to non-lethal bird strike suppression.

Our Passive Technology
PRIMUS is 90% software and 10% commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) hardware.
Our software analyzes the electromagnetic signals in the environment (such as Wi-Fi, TV, 5G, or radio broadcasts). It compares this electromagnetic (EM) field with the variation produced by drones and birds. As a result, our algorithm can detect, locate, and track the target without emitting a single radio wave.
AI also allows PRIMUS to distinguish between birds and drones, making it a unique system with multiple applications.

Nearly 30 years of aviation experience in military and commercial aircraft.
Urban Air Mobility pioneer as EASA Nominated Person Flight Operation at Volocopter. He holds an MBA, a Master’s in HR Management, and a BA in Political Science. Graduated from the Italian Air Force Academy.
An Italian Air Force officer with experience in helicopter operations, military innovation and procurement. His roles included Squadron Commander and security officer. He holds a BA in Political Science and has specialized training in Electronic Warfare.
An accomplished aviation professional in Search and Rescue and HEMS. He currently serves as a Type Rating Instructor at Leonardo Helicopter Training Academy. Holds a Master’s degree in Leadership and Strategic Analysis.
